International Workshop on Symbolic and Numerical Methods, Modeling and Applications to Circuit Design

With an updated scope and named International Workshop on Symbolic and Numerical Methods, Modeling and Applications to Circuit Design (SMACD), two new editions took place in:

Since 2012

International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods and Applications to Circuit Design

For the 2012 edition in Seville, the conference took its present name, and the acronym went back to the original one (SMACD). The scope was dramatically updated and expanded, and our traditional (and beloved) symbolic activity started to play a marginal role. Since then the name and acronym have stayed the same, with minor updates of the scope in each edition and the structure in areas we see today. From 2016 to 2022, SMACD was co-located with PRIME, bringing designers and EDA developers together.
