Legal notice

This website, smacd-conference.org, presents the International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods and Applications to Circuit Design (SMACD 2027), to be held in Seville, Spain, from 14 to 17 June 2027. It is run by the SMACD 2027 Organizing Committee, with the Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla (IMSE-CNM, CSIC and Universidad de Sevilla), the School of Computer Engineering of the Universidad de Sevilla, the IEEE CEDA Spain Chapter and the USECHIP project as organizers.

You may quote and share the information on this site, citing SMACD 2027 as the source; any other use needs our prior consent.

This site links to other websites, such as IEEE Xplore, the paper submission system and previous editions of SMACD. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Liability

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but dates, programme details and other information may change. The calls for papers and the official communications of the conference prevail over this website.

Privacy

We process as little personal data as possible, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

What we process, why, and for how long

• When you write to us, by email or through the contact page: your name, email address and message, only to answer you. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in answering it. We keep the messages as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
• When you visit this site: our hosting provider records technical access logs (IP address, browser, page requested and time) to deliver the site and keep it secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website. The logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify you.
• When you submit a paper or register: this is done on dedicated platforms, which give you their own privacy information when you use them.

Who processes data for us

Vercel Inc. hosts this website, and our email provider handles the messages sent to info@smacd-conference.org. Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, such as Vercel in the United States; any transfer is made with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to info@smacd-conference.org. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
